Infrastructure Planning and Assistance Workshop

April 12, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Register for April 12 Workshop Here

Senator Murkowski announced an Infrastructure Grant Symposium on April 11th at the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage which will aim to bring federal agencies that are administering grants together with organizations & community leaders who are interested in applying.

To complement the symposium, we are hosting the Infrastructure Planning and Assistance workshop at the Dena’ina Center on April 12th with partners with the AK Federal Funding website (including AFN, Foraker, ANTHC, and Denali Commission).

Our hope for the event on the 12th is to facilitate planning discussions to strengthen coordination and identify needs for regional implementation strategies for infrastructure priorities on these five areas that are funded by BIL:

· Transportation

· Water/Sewer

· Resilience

· Broadband

· Energy & Power

The event on the 12th will also be a place to share resources that will help attendees apply to and receive infrastructure grants such as:

· The AK Grant Writing Pool

· Firms that can assist the development of projects

· Federal technical assistance programs

· Management and Reporting assistance, etc.
