The Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) has been actively collaborating with the ANCSA Regional Association (ARA) and the Alaska Native Village CEO Association (ANVCA) to enhance Alaska’s visibility and representation at the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development’s RES Conference.
In March 2025, AFN, ARA, and ANVCA co-hosted two receptions to foster unity and facilitate networking among attendees. These events provided a welcoming atmosphere for participants to share insights, build connections, and discuss opportunities that benefit Alaska Native communities. By strengthening relationships and promoting collaborative efforts, AFN, ARA, and ANVCA aim to maximize Alaska’s influence and ensure that Alaskan Natives’ unique needs and perspectives are well-represented on a national platform.
The success of these initiatives underscores the importance of solidarity and strategic partnerships in advancing the interests of Alaska’s diverse communities.
