Alaska Resource & Tribal Infrastructure Coordination (ARTIC) Project
In consultation with the Denali Commission, the Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) will collaborate with the Alaska Native Village Corporation Association (ANVCA), Alaska Tribal Administrators Association (ATTA), Alaska Municipal League (AML), ANCSA Regional Association (ARA), tribes, and other stakeholders on the Alaska Resource & Tribal Infrastructure Coordination (ARTIC) Project to explore actions supporting Executive Order (E.O.) 14154 Unleashing American Energy, 14153 Unleashing Alaska’s Extraordinary Resource Potential, and Secretary of the Interior Order 3422 implementing elements of E.O. 14153.
The project includes statewide and regional listening sessions, which will play a crucial role in fostering leadership discussions regarding a range of Alaska resource and energy projects, understanding current activities, and coordinating key issues affecting rural Alaska and the Native community to proactively encourage collaboration between communities, local, state, and federal governments.
