The Annual AFN Banquet is a unique and fun-filled evening that celebrates our indigenous cultures and honors the work AFN delegates have done during the entire convention week. This year's banquet will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 7 p.m. You can purchase your individual or table tickets at the link below.

George Holly is a Deg Xit’an songster and storyteller. These last 30 years He has used his talents to uphold his own language and the language of the places he has lived. Mainly through music and singing down the ancestors!
George’s music is sung by dance groups across Alaska as well as the Yukon, by university programs, school district programs, language nests, leadership programs, tribal schools, theatre groups, and traditional arts movements.
He treasures the time he has spent with elders and communities of language learners.
Today he works at Haa Too Yei Yatee (it is within us) Program at Sít’ Eetí Shaanaxh-Glacier Valley Elementary in Juneau where he works to help bring forth the Lingít language from the heart of the public school.
Expect joy, reflection, purpose and possibility in an evening of songs from -the language revitalization movement- with an aim to raise the hearts!
